When you’re due to move out, we will do an end of tenancy property MOT to give you some tips of areas where we may need to take your deposit. This gives you time to get everything in order before you leave. Once you’ve moved out, our property teams will go through the property and check against the inventory anything missing or damaged. Once we’ve done our report, we’ll get in touch with you and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to detail any deductions we feel are appropriate. The TDS will adjudicate the process and will work with you and us to come to an agreement to make sure you get back as much deposit as is appropriate depending on the state of the property.
